Mehar Brar is an experienced School Improvement Adviser. He works with school leaders and teachers, at both primary and secondary level, to improve leadership, curriculum and teaching and learning in their schools. He has contributed to teacher training courses at university, leadership training for pupils and delivers seminars for overseas education ministries. He delivers leadership training and executive coaching to newly appointed leaders in their First 100 Days in an executive role.
He also has experience of leading primary and secondary school inspections. Mehar coaches trainee school inspectors as part of their journey to full accreditation. He uses his inspection training and school review experience to help schools demonstrate rapid and major improvement through powerful leadership. Additionally, Mehar has experience of inspecting international and government schools in Dubai. This includes inspection of curricula from the United Kingdom, United States of America, India and United Arab Emirates. It includes GCSE, IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate at Diploma, Middle Years and Primary Years level.
Mehar continues to learn Spanish and Russian. He has reached a senior standard in Karate and has experience of competing and refereeing in competitions, as well as teaching a wide age range of students. In addition, he is Chair of a national human rights charity.
