David Boyle is the CEO of a Trust which includes both primary schools and a 4-18 all-through comprehensive school in South London. The all-through school is designated as both a National Support School and National Teaching School. It is rated ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted.

He was a Headteacher for 14 years, in senior leadership for 23 years and has taught English in London state schools for 31 years. David has been a head of department, senior teacher, deputy head and head in schools representing a variety of social contexts in the capital.

David has been a staff governor in two different schools as well as an LA appointed governor for a primary school in challenging circumstances. He is a National Leader for Education, a Fellow of the Chartered College and a Lead Inspector for Ofsted. He has worked with the London Leadership Strategy on a number of programmes and is an accredited coach on the Mayor’s ‘Getting Ahead London’ programme. David is currently the chair of the DfE Secondary Headteacher Reference group and is a member of the RSC’s Headteacher Board for the SESL region.
